National Garden Scheme Open Day at Blackland House

Join us at Blackland House, home of Bayntun Flowers, for an afternoon of spring bulb and blossom immersion in our garden.

Expert flower grower Polly Nicholson looks forward to welcoming you to her wonderfully varied 5 acre garden adjacent to the River Marden. You will find a formal walled productive and cutting garden, traditional glasshouses, a rose garden, wide herbaceous borders as well as interesting topiary, trained fruit trees, historic tulips and other unusual spring bulbs.

Event details

£10 admission fee (children go free). No dogs allowed.

For this open day you need to pre-book your ticket in advance. To secure your ticket, please click on the “BUY TICKETS” button below.

Hand-tied bunches of flowers will be available for sale on the day (priced at £20) as well as refreshments including a selection of teas and home-made cakes - gluten-free and vegan catered for (£5 for tea and cake).  Please bring cash for flowers & refreshment. All money raised by flower sales will be donated to Dorothy House.

Please note that Blackland House itself will not be open.
