About Bayntun Flowers
Bayntun Flowers is an artisan flower grower and florists, located at Blackland, a small village hidden at the foot of the Marlborough Downs in West Wiltshire.
We grow unusual flowers and foliage in a series of Georgian walled gardens, and forage unexpected stems from trees and hedgerows. These are cut daily to create scented, textural hand-tied bunches and arrangements. Our naturalistic style, a Bayntun Flowers signature, has the feel of an intricate floral tapestry.
How we work
We grow in the most environmentally kind way possible using traditional companion planting methods and by keeping our own British black bees to aid pollination. We have never resorted to pesticides. About to go ‘under conversion’ with the Soil Association, our goal is to be fully organic.
Whilst specializing in bespoke bunches made to order, we also create beautiful arrangements for parties, dinners and the occasional wedding or funeral. Working with scale to breathtaking effect, we use oversized florists’ buckets and vases at one end of the spectrum, and clusters of antique ink pots at the other.
Our hand-tied bunches are made with what is perfect on the day. Each one is tied with twine, wrapped in waxed paper and finished with a Bayntun Flowers oak leaf tag.
In addition to our private orders we supply wholesale flowers to several top London and local florists.
